At some point in time your computer we develop a problem. If it is not related to a hardware failure it will involve a possible software issue. This can involve the computer operating system, a device connected to it, or a specification application. Anyone of these can have an effect on the computer’s performance. More serious case scenarios involve system lock-up or the computer crashes inflectionally known as the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH! Less serious case scenarios involve programs unable to load correctly. It will require an appropriate diagnose to determine the problem. In most cases it can be easily resolved while other times it can be a more serious problem requiring more involve troubleshooting.. At Custom Computer Consulting we will assist you in determining the problem and repair it.
Software
Software is the most common issue with computer failure and at times can be considered the most frustrating to deal with as it can render specific applications useless. It can be either a operating system problem or a software application problem.

A standard diagnostic charge of $75.00 will apply. If you decide to have us repair it, half of the diagnostic fee will be waved. The average repair cost of repair is $85.00 to $255.00. During the diagnostic stage we can estimate what the cost will be. We will then discuss those options and with our assistance you will be able to make a decision whether or not to have the computer or device repaired. Once the repairs are completed the computer will be returned to you. If you decide not to authorize us for the repairs you will pay the full diagnostic charge. A diagnostic report will be prepared explaining the problem.
**Note: All corrected software related problems are warranted for 7-days from the date of repair. No service will be performed without proper authorization by our client. All defective components (Memory, PS, processor, motherboards, video cards, optical drives, and etc.) replaced or updated will be returned, if requested by the customer.
CCC - Service Time
The service time will depend on the cause of the problem and whether or not it can be performed successfully on-site or if it requires an In-shop
repair. The standard allocation is 60 minutes but usually the problem can be evaluated within 15 to 30 minutes or sooner.
