A peripheral (pronounced peh-RIHF-uh-ruhl, a noun truncation of peripheral device), is any computer device that is not part of the essential computer (the processor, memory, and data paths) but is situated relatively close by. A near synonym is input/output (I/O) device. Some peripherals are mounted in the same case with the main part of the computer as are the hard disk drive, CD-ROM drive, and NIC. Other peripherals are outside the computer chassis, such as the printer, and image scanner, attached by a wired or wireless connection.

CCC recommends an On-Site support so we can configure and troubleshoot your network assuring that everything is running properly. The majority of service is conducted in a residence or business surroundings. A standard service fee is applied followed by an additional service for each additional peripheral you request to have installed. The service installation includes both the software and hardware components associated with the peripheral.

CCC - Service consist of the following

  1. Verify compatibility
  2. Setup/Configuration/Troubleshooting
  3. Install necessary Software & Updates
  4. Test proper functionality of the peripheral & software
  5. Answer any question you may have about the peripheral

 

CCC - Service Time
We typically allocate 60 minutes for this type of service call. Factors that will effect the time will depend on how many periperhals will be installed and the setup required to get the device up and running. . CCC will provide our client's with a better estimated time during the service inquiry.
