In an attempt to reduce your apprehensive Custom Computer Consulting offers a service for both commercial and residential where we will assist you in installation and startup (setup) of any computer system and any attached peripherals or smart devices. This service is design to take the worry out of having to setup and connect the various components and assures that all devices are in working condition.
CCC will also assures that all hardware and software components have been properly installed.
If you should have a problem we’ll assist you in contacting the company and if necessary help return the item or replace the part that is defective. We’ll even help you move any old computer system along with any peripherals to a different location and reconnect all the components to assure everything is in proper working condition.

Assistance in Purchasing of any product by our client in the convenience of their home or business. This includes help in creating any necessary accounts, payment information, and ordering the computer or peripherals. |

If our client prefers we will order the product for you and delivery to you once we receive it. Prior to any order, a price quote will be given for this service and no order will be processed until the client authorizes it. It usually takes a day or so to receive a price quote depending on how busy we are. All packages received will remain unopened until it is delivered to our client unless other services that may require attention prior to installation and startup of the computer(s) and/or peripheral(s). |
CCC - The service perform includes
Dispose of OLD computer(s) or peripheral(s), if requested Unpack the NEW computer(s), peripheral(s), or smart device(s) from the box Verify all contents of the package with the purchase invoice Inspect it for any physical damage to the exterior as well as the interior of the chassis We will check to assure that all components within the chassis are properly connected. POST, Power On System Test will be performed, assuring the bootstrap loader code is invoked. We'll setup, configure, and test the new computer(s) to assure that everything is in working condition. Connect all necessary peripheral including those you wish to install and assure the proper drivers are communicating with the device. Setup and active any existing e-mail account. Configure any local area network which may include active folder, user names, and password assignments. Check and verify that everything is in working condition We’ll conduct with our clients a Q&A session to help in a smoother transitions to the new machine.
New System OS Back-Up Option (available)
Custom Computer Consulting recommends prior to start-up of the computer to make an exact 1:1 backup image of the complete system prior to the operating system becoming fully activated. No initialize setup perimeters and/or registration information is entered into the system. This is accomplished by only the allowing the computer to POST (or until the splash screen appears and the system boots-up on an alternate drive, such as a optical drive or a USB stick. This will allow you to do a complete recovery of the system as it arrived from the manufacture in the event it is necessary.
CCC - Service Time
It will depend on the service performed. Generally New Installation and Startup we allocate 120 minutes but it usual between 60 and 90 minutes. If we perform a master copy of the operating system prior to startup additional time will be required. If CCC purchase the
computer we can perform this service in shop to avoid the additional time required in the field. In must case it take only 120 minutes or so.
