1st-- Plan it - Custom Computer Consulting will conduct an assessment and determine what will needed to integrate the wireless technology with your exist technology. What is your intent of the network? Some but not necessary everything is covered in the list below:

I.	E-mail, Chat, surf, and shop on line from any room
II.	Upgrade my current network from G TO N
III.	Extend the reach of my wireless network
IV.	Video Chart with friends and family
V.	Monitor my home while I’m away (security system, wireless cameras, etc.
VI.	Stream videos, movies, and shows wireless to my TV
VII.	Stream music wirelessly through my home
VIII.	Transfer large files between computers

CCC - We will evaluate your current and future network needs

I.	How is your current network infrastructure configured?
II.	How many workstations, offices, and conference rooms connected to the
	network?
III.	How many clients use computers and other communications devices in
	in your company?
IV.	Does any staff conduct business off-site away from the primary business?
V.	What type of equipment dose your staffs use?
VI.	What is the approx coverage area required?
	Standard (1,200 sq ft)
	Moderate (1,200-2,500 sq ft)
	Large (2,500 or more sq ft)

CCC - will then help you formulate a plan by purchasing, installing, and configuring the network based on your business needs and plans. We’ll then discuss with you your future plans and make sure will allow for future expansion of your network.

2nd Prepare to Install - a wireless LAN (local area network) consist of two primary components.

Wireless Clients - which are any devices capable of communicating over a wireless LAN, such as

I.	PCs, tablets, and smart phones
II.	Audio Streaming devices
III.	Network Storage
IV.	Wireless Printer
V.	Game Console
VI.	DVR or Set-top Box
VII.	Blu-Ray Player
VIII.	Media Player
lX.	Smart TV

Access Points – a wireless radio signal receiver/transmitter which receives a radio signal from other devices. These AP sites are connected to area networks (LAN & WAN) in a repeater or wired mode which are wired to a hub, switch, and router – allowing access to both your local area network as well as a wide area network such as an IP (Internet Provider).

3rd Begin the Installation - Custom Computer Consulting will then help you build your wireless network by utilizing the following steps. Identifying the equipment you will need.

I.	Determine the number of users that need to have access your network. This will help
	determine the number of access points you’ll need and the bandwidth needed to
	accommodate your users.
Il.	Plan to either create an ONLY wireless network or to an existing wire LAN. Maximize access
	points (maximum 150’ to 300’) with existing environment – walls, pipes, cables. This will be
	determined by our original site survey that Custom Computer Consulting will conduct prior
	to installation.
IIl.	Configuring wireless devices to work with your network and any wide area network Test
	installation before it goes live. Using link test software to determine the reliabilities by
	determining the percent of data sent correctly, the time it takes to receive a response from
	the destination device, and the strength of the transmitted signal
IV.	Establish a procedure to manage your wireless LAN. An Administrator to oversee the
	implementation.

4th Set-up - The level of security either an open network, closed network, or combination of both with different protocols.

I.	MAC (media access control) addressing which restricts network access by unauthorized
	devices by assigning each network card a unique hardware identification number
Il.	WEP encryption – a sophisticated software algorithm that scrambles data as it is sent and
	unscrambles it as soon as it is received keeping it safe in transit.
IIl.	VPN (Virtual Private Network) securities controls. This allows users outside your network
	system to access the companies’ network by way of the internet through portable devices.
IV.	DHCP – OFF
V.	SSID – change and/or disable

5th Support - Custom Computer Consulting will continue to support all the equipment it has installed and assistant in any future implementation you may need.

CCC - Recommendations
We suggest using a combination of both wired and wireless network as they reduce the reliance on a specific network. Desktop and laptops reserve for wired network while smart devices, tablets, and other portable device can be dedicated to a wireless network. This only a general rule and will always depend on your present and future needs.

Any initial survey and on-site elevation can take up to 2 hours depending on how involve it becomes.t.
