Custom Computer Consulting Software Installation, Setup, and Updating Services

Custom Computer Consulting will evaluate your present computers installed programs to determine whether or not your computer is up-to-date in regards to the operating system as well as any other programs already installed. We can further provide installation of new software applications. Also, any previous or new software installation involving software updates, software errors, and new installations can be performed during the update process. After installation we’ll further assist you in setting up the software and making sure the program is in working order.

On-site Software Installation and Setup Service consist of up to 2 software install. An nominal fee will be charged for each additional software installs. This can include: software applications associated with computers, peripherals, and smart devices.

Types of Software Installations

Single Installation - A software application that involves only a single program to be installed on a computer system.

Suite Installation - These are larger applications that involve more then one specific program to be installed. A multitude of programs. An example includes: MicrosSoft Office Professional and Adobe Suites. This type of service involves on-site or in shop installation.

**Note: Software installations are defined as any software involving a computer, peripherals, and smart devices. Each service package (Single or Suite Installation) is considered a single program installation and is charged accordingly. There is a service base charge for each type of installation followed by a reduce charge for additional service.

Operating System & Software Applications
Custom Computer Consulting can perform an on-site updates to most of your computers and any peripherals. This includes the computer's operating system Any FREE or registered software applications and peripheral driver that you may have installed on your system. Any updates that we can not perform in the field CCC will pick-up your computer and/or device and return it to our client's once upgrades have been completed.

Why This Type of Service
This service would be for those that may be unsure in how to update their computer. They do not have internet access or the their Internet connection is simply to slow to handle an update. . A internet connect that is slow can effect upgrades as time-outs are more luckily to occur. Other factors include older computers with lack of memory, such as RAM, and appropriate drive space to handle such upgrades.

CCC - Optional Remote Desktop Support

The majority of software updates and new installations can be performed off-site by using the remote support service. There are options available in handling the installation, updating, and setup of the applications. Besides, having the usual in shop service call or the on-site service, the other available options is the Remote Desktop Support option which allows the installation and updating without anyone being there. Custom Computer Consulting uses unattended assistance, two-way Phone conversation, computer chat session, and computer screen interactive assistance during Remote Desktop Service.

What services is not possible with RDS?

Recovery of operating system (Be sure to have recovery disk available, If not available, please let us know).
Bullet Point The more evolved software that require multiple installation disks
Any new and some already installed peripherals or smart device that uses software base interface applications.

Whether it will require an on-site service call or if it can be handed by Remote Desktop Service. We will evaluate each situation and determine the appropriate service level.

CCC - On-Site/Off-Site Service (Important)
Be sure to have available at the time of service any registration information in the event it is needed. Also, any recovery disks which can include the operating system, software application, and any peripherals that are attached to your computer.

If performing a remote installation any new or updated programs can be provided by our client's or by us. Just be sure to include all the necessary registration information (which can include name, serial# or unlock code, name of the of application(s), and website location to download the file.

CCC - Service Time
A standard 60 minutes time period is allocated. The length of service time will depend on what type of service is being performed.
