

At some point in time your computer we develop a problem. The two most common problem associated with computer failure is either hardware or software issues. It will require a evaluation of the problem to determine the appropriate remedy. At Custom Computer Consulting we can diagnose and repair must computer problem associated with both PC and MAC laptop computers.
Most of our preliminary diagnostic is performed on-site. Other times it may involve the phone or other forms of social media such as facebook, twitter, and etc. It is during this first contact CCC will assess the problem and determine the appropriate steps needed to resolve it. We will first attempt to diagnose the possible causes. If we are unable to determine the specific causes a more involved diagnostic will be perform. They include on-site evaluation, pick-up for repair, or a drop-off of the piece of equipment.
If an On-site evaluation is warranted. We will schedule an appointment with you to conduct a more detail diagnostic of the problem. This will include a re-evaluation of the problem followed by a more detail examination in realtime the actual occurance. In the majority of cases it will be either a software or hardware or a combination of both.
If we are unable to resolve the problem on-site as it may requires a more involved repair such as parts, we will then take the equipment back to our shop for repair and return it to you in full working condition.
Hardware
Serious case scenario, making the computer inoperable. Less serious case scenario involve a component that does not affect the
computer operation but the device attached to it.

Make sure all power cords are firmly in place on all peripherals. |

| Make sure all devices that are connected to your computer are properly connected and are firmly connected on both ends. | |
| Be sure all internal cards are firmly seated into their slots. On occasion they can become dislodged. | |
| Device Configuration between hardware and software can develop. Try unloading and reloading device drivers and be sure you have the latest drivers installed. |
I realize these are the simplest items to check but they do sometimes cause a problem. Remember, if all else fails you can always attempt to powerdown the computer and all other devices. Then selecting one by one starting with the computer, power-up every device. CCC - Performs the following

If further diagnostic is required we will thoroughly blow out all dust mates from your computer to allow for better
visibility. This will also help elevate any possible heat buildup as a result of the accumulated dust. |

| Based on your description, we will then perform a visual inspection of your computer checking for any loose or broken connection to the various interior components. Also, any traces of burn marks or the smell of burned components that may indicate a electric short has occurred. | |
| We will then narrow our search to the specific component associated with the problem and replace with either an identical component or one of equal value. |
CCC - On-site Diagnostic & Repair
Custom Computer Consulting will attempt to perform repair on site. We usually scheduled 2 hours for any on-site diagnostic. It is within this time we can determine whether or not the computer can be repaired in the field. In some case it may take only a few minutes.It all depends on the problem.
A standard diagnostic charge of $75.00 will apply. If you decide to have us repair it, half of the diagnostic fee will be waved. The average repair cost of repair is $85.00 to $255.00. During the diagnostic stage we can estimate what the cost will be. We will then
discuss those options and with our assistance you will be able to make a decision whether or not to have the computer or device repaired. Once the repairs are completed the computer will be returned to you. If you decide not to authorize us for the repairs you
will pay the full diagnostic charge. A diagnostic report will be prepared explaining the problem.
**No service will be performed without proper authorization by our client. All defective components (Memory, PS, processor, motherboards, video cards, optical drives, and etc.) replaced or updated will be returned, if requested by the customer.
CCC - Service Time
We allocate 60 minutes but most diagnostic process takes between 15 to 20 minutes.
