Custom Computer Consulting Custom Built PCs Overview

When it comes to assembling your own computer it can be daunting task. This includes the purchasing of the chases that holds the computer to buying the right components. What processor goes with what motherboard? What type of processor do I choose and what type of motherboard will do the job I need it to do. Do I buy an onboard graphics card or a separate graphics cards. What type of graphic card is best for what I want to do? What about the type of memory I need and how much of it do I need to use. And, finally what type of chassis do I need and the size to accommodate the motherboard and any necessary peripherals with room for future expansion. These are all questions that may be overwhelming if you are not familiar with all various components and possible incompatibility issues associated in assembling a working PC. At Custom Computer Consulting, we can build your dream machine based on your specifications and needs. Our philosophy is we won’t build any computer that we would not use ourselves. The most significate part of us building a custom computer from scratch is the ability to select all the parts that will make up the computer system. Often manufactured computer systems the user tends to comprise on features and ultimately they are not able to use what they intended the computer to do. Also, no two computers of the exact same model are the same as manufactures do use different components from other manufactures.

What Makes Our Computer System Different?

Unlike manufactured PCs our Custom Built PCs are designed and built based on our Clients specific needs.

We use only quality components from leading manufacturing who offer the best warranty and support for their products -- starting with the chassis and power supply followed by the motherboard, CPU, and memory.

All peripherals and add-ons that are installed are from leading manufactures. This means better reliability, more compatibility with the hardware.

We test each and every system components both prior to assembly and after assembly.

We provide an on-site setup of all purchase computer system and peripherals.

Consultation
If you prefer to assemble your own computer but need assistance in purchasing the appropriate components (i.e. processer, computer, memory, graphics cards, chassis) and any peripherals, Custom Computer Consulting offers a service to assist our client's. We will come to your establishment whether it is home or a business and conduct a one-to-one consultation. There is one-time consultation fee that will be applied. The general consultation will depend on the preparedness of the client. It usually involves the discussion of the purpose of the computer (compiling a list of needs), a brief explanation on the components involved, and an approximate price range. The discussion may simply involve a clarification that the client’s has in chosen the appropriate computer system or peripheral they may want to connect to it.

Note: If you choose to have us build you ultimate dream machine we will begin the process as soon as possible. CCC will utilize the information we obtain from you (our client) CCC will compile a cost to build the computer or peripheral and contact with you to discuss the cost and any modifications you may have in the order. Once authorization has been given we will begin the process of ordering and assembling the computer. Depending on how involved the build is, it can take a week or so to complete.

Prospective Client's
It is good idea that our client's have an idea to the purpose they intend to use the computer for and the approximate cost range. This will help us in determining the appropriate components needed to build the computer system. If you should choose to build the computer on your own we recommend you have a fundamental understanding in the various components needed to assemble a working computer. If you have any questions in regards to method of a building a computer you can inquiry about it during the initial the consultation.

Pricing
Custom Built PCs varies in cost as it depends on the components installed and the time necessary to build the system. Some systems may involve more design and setup time. We will discuss with you all options available and give our clients the best price possible to fit their budget.

Factors you should consider before making the decision whether to have a custom computer build or to purchase a manufactured computer.

I. PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT. What purpose will the computer serve and can the manufactured computer do the job efficiently?

II. The likability factor, not really a technical requirement, but is based on your own experience and preferences you might have with a specific manufactured computer.

III. Cost consideration. Custom builds tend to cost more due to the components being used in the building of the computer.

IV. Expendability. Can you add additional components to the computer?

V. Upgradable. Can you perform an upgrade to its components without sacrificing performance (bottleneck) or computability issues? If the machine is more then 2-years old it will depend on the motherboard’s expansion capabilities, components used, and there computability. If you should choose to have Custom Computer Consulting build your computer, we use the following criteria in building your dream machine.

If you should choose to have Custom Computer Consulting build your computer system we will use the following criteria to build your dream machine.

I. It will be built to our client’s specification so as to serve its original purpose.

II. Assurance in any compatibility issues among the various manufacture are taken into consideration as relates to the computer system and the components being used.

III. Bottleneck Issues, a process to assure that all components installed will run at peak operation as it was designed. If the components do not match the performance level, such as a processor that lacks the performance level needed to benefit a high end video card. It is important to match as closely as possible their performance levels to avoid bottlenecks. Power supply unable to handle the power requirements needed for system. A higher level processor with a lower quality graphics card can cause under performance.

IV. The use of quality, and reliable components which have good warranties.

V. Assure to our client’s in both the reliance and performance of the computer.

VI. A Choice of Retail or OEM operating system to be installed. The advantage, the client can choose what is best suited for their needs. We can assist you in what version will be appropriate for your particular use. We will then take the Client’s criteria based on our interview and match the appropriate processor, followed by the motherboard, and any other needed components to assemble the desire computer.

The standard Consultation Services for building of the computer is broken down into the following:

On-Site Consultation (Q&A session, followed by a general discussion on the layout of the system)
Breakdown of needed components including any peripherals. Also, an approximate price range? (Any Additional or Specialize Apps that may need to be installed?)
An Estimated Price Range will be given to the client
Establishing for our client a price quote
Review with our client the purpose build and make any changes as needed.
